Using ToteTally
ToteTally is a personal household-storage tool for recording locations, containers, items, photos, and labels. Use it lawfully and do not use it to violate another person’s rights, interfere with the app or website, or distribute harmful content.
The app, its design, and its branding remain ToteTally’s work. Your inventory, photos, notes, and exports remain yours.
Your inventory and backups
ToteTally stores its primary inventory locally. You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping portable backups you may need. Review an export before erasing a device or replacing its inventory.
When you export, print, or share a file, you choose its destination and recipients. Handle those copies according to their contents. See the Privacy Policy for the app’s data practices.
Apple services and device features
Optional iCloud/CloudKit sync, device backup, Photos, camera, speech recognition, notifications, printing, and sharing are Apple-managed capabilities. Their availability can depend on your device, Apple Account, permissions, network, storage, region, and Apple’s terms.
ToteTally’s personal iCloud sync is independent of household-access sharing. The launch version does not offer member invitations or multi-user inventory access.
Availability and reliability
ToteTally is designed to remain useful offline, but software and device storage can fail. Features may be corrected, improved, or adjusted in later versions. No inventory app should be the only record for items whose loss could create safety, legal, financial, or insurance consequences.
Support is provided through the published Support page. A response time or uninterrupted service level is not promised.
